\nAlternative Concert Formats in Classical Music<\/span><\/h2>\n

Kazumi Minoguchi Lab invites as a special lecturer Andreas\u00a0Vierziger, an artistic and strategic consultant based in Austria, for the \u201dArts Studies and Curatorial Practices Lab I\u201d. Vierziger will discuss on the content, synergies and strategies in the classical music field and its beyond. He has collaborated with clients such as Vivienne Westwood, the Welsh National Opera, various record labels, international festivals and many artists. As a lecturer, he is invited to speak at institutions such as the Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels as well as the music universities of Vienna, Salzburg, Hanover, Zurich and Helsinki among others. In this lecture, Vierziger will talk about alternative concert formats in classical music.
\nNew performative formats in classical music have increasingly gained acclaim and have made room for new markets. Many successful examples have caught international recognition and has created new situations for the audience, obtained new types of venues, created new contents and disciplines and cross-boundary practices with other disciplines such as performance, dance, visual art and new technologies.<\/p>\n

Profile:<\/strong>
\nAndreas Vierziger<\/strong>
\nArtistic and strategic consultant\u00a0based in Austria. After studying dramas, film and media sciences, musicology and arts management at the University of Vienna, he worked as an artists manager at Buhl Artists Management and collaborated with internationally renowned musicians, orchestras, festival staff and concert presenters across the world. Currently, he works as an independent consultant, and also serves as a member of the boards for music contests and lecturers at universities and colleges in Europe.<\/p>\n
