{"id":566,"date":"2016-04-01T21:00:13","date_gmt":"2016-04-01T12:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ga-beta.geidai.ac.jp\/info\/en\/2016\/03\/18\/open\/"},"modified":"2017-09-26T14:16:43","modified_gmt":"2017-09-26T05:16:43","slug":"start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geidai-ga.warpjapan.com\/en\/2016\/04\/01\/start\/","title":{"rendered":"The Graduate School of Global Arts Master\u2019s Course in Arts Studies and Curatorial Practices has begun."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><h2 class=\"mincho blue\"><span style=\"font-size: 28px;\">The Graduate School of Global Arts <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 28px;\">Master\u2019s Course<br \/>\nin Arts Studies and Curatorial Practices<br \/>\nhas begun.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb0\">The Graduate School of Global Arts was officially launched this spring. 14 postgraduate students have joined the \u201cArts Studies and Curatorial Practices\u201d Master\u2019s course including international students from the Philippines, China and Korea. On the 4th and 5th of April the postgraduate students were introduced to the campus and program by the faculty staff and were offered a tour of Senju and Ueno Campus, and on the 6th, of April classes began. To coincide with the launch of the new department and course, the department\u2019s website has also been re-launched.<\/p>\n<p class=\"onemoji\">One of the special features of our course is that while each student chooses a specialized route of study from among the core areas of Arts Management, Curation and Research, all postgraduate students can also attend classes outside of their specialized area depending on their research interests and requirements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"onemoji\">Throughout the year, the Graduate School of Global Arts will organize\u3000lectures and symposiums that are available for the public to attend. Guest professors will be invited from overseas for several of these lectures. The graduate school will also organize a range of research workshops and presentations by students on their postgraduate research and practice. Information about these events will be made available on the department\u2019s website.
